Apache Corp. has retained Scotia Waterous (USA) Inc. to sell certain East Texas oil and gas assets in Texas Railroad Commission Districts 5 and 6.
The package includes approximately 80,000 gross acres (49,500 net) in Freestone, Camp, Upshur, Rust, Nacogdoches, Angelina, Gregg, Panola, Marion, Harrison, Leon and Limestone counties. The acreage includes approximately 490 proved-developed producing wells; 80% operated based on PDP value. Production comes from numerous producing intervals including Bossier, Cotton Valley lime, Travis Peak and Rodessa.
Production as of March was 41 million net cubic feet of gas equivalent per day. Proved reserves are 233 billion cubic feet of gas equivalent and proved and probable reserves are 338 billion cubic feet equivalent.
97% of total proved and probable reserves are concentrated in Freestone, Nacogdoches and Upshur counties.
