Plains All American Pipeline LP (NYSE: PAA) announced several officer changes on April 6, including the retirement of Dave Duckett as CEO the company's Canadian subsidiary, Plains Midstream Canada (PMC).

Duckett led PMC through a period of significant growth, building a talented management team and a strong asset footprint, the company release said. He has been with Plains since 2001 following the company's acquisition of CANPET Energy Group Inc. and was named CEO in 2015.

As a result, Jason Balasch was promoted to president of PMC in anticipation of Duckett's retirement and has recently assumed certain additional responsibilities previously held by Duckett. Balasch joined PMC in 2011, serving in various capacities, most recently as executive vice president of NGL commercial and facilities.

In addition, Phil Kramer has retired as executive vice president, with responsibility for U.S. lease gathering, human resources and supply chain management at Plains. Jim Fryfogle is set to retire as vice president of bulk supply and logistics at Plains in mid-2017. And Rick Jensen, executive vice president of operations at PMC, and David Craig, senior vice president of corporate development at PMC, also retired earlier this year.

Plains also promoted Jeremy Goebel to senior vice president of acquisitions and strategic planning and Roy Lamoreaux to the new role of vice president of investor relations and communications.
