Cimarex Energy Co. has retained The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse to sell certain producing assets in 15 fields in Mississippi, representing an exit from the state.
The package involves 35 producing wells with 17 operated in Covington, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lawrence and Walthall counties. Net production as of October was 300 barrels of oil and 2.5 million cubic feet of gas per day producing from the Hosston, Cotton Valley and Sligo formations. Net monthly cash flow was $670,000 for the third quarter. Upside includes recompletions and infill drilling.
