Cordillera Energy Partners III, LLC today announced the results from its most recent operated horizontal Granite Wash completion in the Texas Panhandle and its first two operated horizontal Tonkawa completions in Western Oklahoma.
Granite Wash High Rate Completion
After two weeks on line, the Dobson Ranch 3HA in Wheeler County, TX produced 12,232 mcfd and 360 bopd during a stabilized production test. The natural gas production has a heating value of 1,215 Btu/cf, which will yield approximately 1,117 bbls/d of natural gas liquids after processing. Including liquid recovery and processing shrinkage, the Dobson Ranch 3HA is producing at a rate of 18,570 Mmcfe/d. The well is located in one of Cordillera’s core acreage positions where it is actively targeting a number of stacked Granite Wash intervals identified through its 10 years of vertical drilling activity in the area. Cordillera has two horizontal Granite Wash wells waiting on completion, has one well currently drilling and two additional wells to be spud in the next 30 days.
Tonkawa High Rate Completions
Cordillera recently completed its first two horizontal Tonkawa wells in the Western Anadarko basin. The Leddy 1-19HB and Currier 1-20HB are located in Township 16N, Range 22W in Roger Mills County, OK in previously non-producing sections. These wells were completed with lateral lengths of over 4,200’ at a vertical depth of 8500’. The Currier 1-20HB produced at a stabilized 24-hour flow rate of 1,029 BOED (908 bbls and 728 Mcf) and the Leddy 1-19HB produced 1,015 BOED (937 bbls and 473 Mcf). Both wells continue to produce at high rates and are projected to recover as much as 500,000 barrels each over their lifetimes. These initial wells confirm the economic potential of Cordillera’s large acreage position in the Tonkawa oil producing trend. The company currently has 8 wells waiting on completion with 51 additional horizontals planned through December 2011.

Operational Update
Cordillera will continue its 7 to 10 rig program, drilling an additional 100 horizontal wells in the Granite Wash, Tonkawa, Marmaton, and Cleveland formations by year-end 2011. The Company currently has 2 horizontal Granite Wash rigs in the Texas Panhandle, 4 horizontal Tonkawa rigs in Roger Mills and Ellis Counties, Oklahoma, and 1 horizontal Marmaton rig in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cordillera’s portfolio of horizontal development is concentrated in the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma, where it continues to drill and complete a wide variety of oil and liquids-rich geologic horizons that are highly economic at current product prices. Cordillera holds close to 200,000 net acres containing over 4,000 drilling opportunities in the Texas panhandle and Western Oklahoma and continues to pursue acquisitions of both producing properties and undeveloped leasehold.
