Royal Dutch Shell Plc plans to enter the Polish gas market and is analyzing the country’s licenses for shale gas exploration, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported, citing Pawel Zuk, head of Shell’s Polish unit.
Shell may cooperate with companies that already have such licenses, Zuk told the newspaper without naming the potential partners. However the publication, not citing anyone, did mention that Polskie Gornictwo Gazowe i Gazownictwo SA may be one of the companies.
