Globe Energy Services LLC plans to buy Paul Musslewhite Trucking Co. LLC and affiliated entities in Levelland, Texas for an undisclosed amount.
Musslewhite is a Permian-based fluid services company founded in 1937. The new fleet of the combined companies includes more than 700 fluid service trucks, almost 2,500 tanks and 28 saltwater disposal facilities. Following the acquisition, Musslewhite will operate under the Globe name.
“Musslewhite has an impressive 75-year operating history in the Permian Basin and shares our philosophy of focusing first on customers, employees and safety,” said Troy Botts, Jr., Globe’s president and chief executive.

We will have near complete coverage of the Permian Basin and a network that will help us improve the responsiveness and efficiency of service delivery. We are pleased to welcome the Musslewhite team and look forward to a bright future together.” Richard Ellis, chief executive of Musslewhite, will be joining Globe’s senior leadership and will remain involved in day-to-day operations and in all aspects of the business.
Globe Energy Services is an oilfield services company focused on new well completions and the production and maintenance of existing wellbores based in Snyder, Texas. Founded in 2004, Globe is based in Snyder, Texas, and operates in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas.
