Hallin Marine, a Superior Energy Services company, signed a long-term strategic alliance agreement with Romona Inc. for projects throughout the Russian Federation. The agreement brings together the strength of Hallin’s offshore support fleet, diving and ROV capabilities with Romona’s 20-year experience in survey projects for offshore constructions, pipelines and marine navigation, claimed the companies.

“The Hallin-Romona partnership is ideally equipped able to offer Russian content, local expertise and Russian survey capability. Our target markets will be Russia’s east coast, the Russian sectors of the Caspian and Black Sea, the Russian Arctic including the Barents, Kara and other seas, and Russian sectors of the Baltic,” stated Hallin’s group sales director, Angus Cooper.

“Hallin’s capabilities as an internationally active offshore support service provider make the company a logical partner for us,” added Romona’s general director, Boris Kornoukhov. “Integrating Romona’s technical skills and geographic knowledge with Hallin’s surface fleet and remotely operated submersible vehicles creates a partnership that is ideally placed to serve Russia’s expanding offshore energy industry. Our business focus will be on drill support, construction support, inspection, maintenance and repair, and decommissioning.”
