John S. Weatherly, senior vice president
and chief financial officer for Callon
Petroleum Co., Natchez, Miss., (NYSE:
CPE) has passed away. Weatherly joined
the company in 1980 and, during a 25-year
career, was vice president, CFO and treasurer.
He was named senior vice president
in 1999.
Fred L. Callon, chairman and chief
executive officer, will assume Weatherly’s
duties until a successor is named.
