The Sara-4 development well in Pakistan has been completed in the Sui Upper Limestone formation of Eocene age, flowing gas at an average rate of about 1.6 million cubic feet per day, Jura Energy Corp. said in a news release.
The well, located on the Sara Lease in Pakistan’s Middle Indus Basin, was drilled to a total depth of 1,120 m. During a 7-hour post-completion test on a 20/64-in. choke, the well flowed gas with an average wellhead flowing pressure of about 730 psi, according to the release.
Jura is the operator of Sara Lease with a 60% working interest.
