Noble has accumulated over 179,000 acres in the New Albany shale. During 2007, they drilled 16 New Albany shale wells. At the end of 2007 nine were producing and seven are in the progress of pipeline connection. The Paxton facility, which the company operates, will serve the majority of wells in the Paxton field. Noble plans to have an active drilling program during 2008.
