Senex Energy Limited has been advised by Santos Limited, the operator of the ATP 752P Joint Venture, that the Cuisinier-4 oil appraisal well has commenced drilling.
The well had reached a depth of 312 metres and 9 5/8” surface casing had been set prior to drilling ahead.
Cuisinier-4 is approximately 600 metres north west of the Cuisinier-1 discovery well and is targeting a total depth of 1,759 metres. The primary target is the oil-bearing sands of the Murta Member.
Cuisinier-4 is the first of three appraisal wells and one exploration well that the Joint Venture has planned for the Barta Block in coming months.
Senex holds a 15% interest in ATP 752P (Barta Block).
