USON, a manufacturer of dry air leak testing equipment, appointed Bob Tong as director of USON’s China operations and the expansion of the company's sales and technical support offices in four China locations (Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Changchun).
USON’s appointment of Tong and expansion of USON China operations reflects the desire to meet market needs of rapidly growing Chinese industries, especially in the automotive and medical device fields.
Dave Foran, president of USON, says that he is proud to welcome Tong back to USON, where he had previously held the position of sales engineer for four years. “Bob’s breadth of knowledge of leak test applications engineering combined with his devotion to customer service is exactly the type of leadership USON needs and welcomes in the important China market. As a sales engineer for USON previously Bob delivered a 500% increase in sales revenue. He has exactly the right skills to build a robust technical support operation and sales team for China. His dedication and natural abilities as a leader and team builder are very much appreciated, as well as his ability to draw similarly hard-working and talented staff as he expands the USON China team," Foran said in a news release.
Tong holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Automatic Control Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His diverse work experiences include positions with global Fortune 100 companies, electronics leaders in Japan and work for both automotive and medical device companies in China.
