WGP has been licensed to study the Mendeleyev Ridge during the summer of 2012.
The company will provide seismic data acquisition services aimed at collecting additional material to support the Russian proposal to the United Nations Commission on the Law of the Sea in order to determine the limits of the continental shelf.
WGP will provide operational responsibility; a technical crew; equipment; and conversion and installation services for the suite of geophysical equipment used.
Mobilization of the icebreaker vessel, Dikson, is scheduled to begin in early June 2012. The project is expected to run for five months.
