With the Democrats not fairing well in this year's election and unemployment rising over 10% the US Senate may push a vote on climate control into 2010. Of course since 2010 mean House and Senate races it likely means no support for the bill from 'Red State' Democrats, especially energy producing ones. The political blog Hot Air makes an interesting case why climate control will never see the light of day anytime soon.
