NEW, 1st Southwest Consultants has retained Meagher Oil & Gas Properties Inc. to sell certain assets in the Barnett shale in North Texas. The package includes 100% working interest (75% net revenue interest) in approximately 9,700 gross acres (6,300 net) in the Fort Worth Basin in Montague County. Potential reserves are up to 150 billion cubic feet of gas. The assets feature 55 horizontal drilling locations and more than 150 vertical drilling locations.
