Humboldt Capital Corp., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: HMB) has acquired 149,500 shares of Trafina Energy Ltd., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: TFA-A) at approximately C$0.35 each for a total C$52,325. Humboldt now has 457,500 shares of Trafina, representing a 7.9% company stake. Together with its major shareholder, Robert W. Lamond, Humboldt now has control of 735,400 shares or a 12.8% stake in Trafina. Trafina has E&P interests primarily in the Wetaskiwin, Jenner, Carson Creek/ Judy Creek and Bindloss areas of Alberta.
