Brownstone Ventures Inc., Toronto, (CDNX: BWN) has acquired 1 million shares of Altai Resources Inc., Toronto, (Toronto Venture: ATI) for approximately C$1.05 million. The purchase includes 500,000 purchase warrants granting Brownstone the right to buy shares at C$0.60 until April 16, 2010. Brownstone and its joint actors now hold approximately 6 million Altai shares, or approximately 15% of its outstanding stock. Altai has oil and gas assets in Quebec, which includes 59.4% interest in the 282,317-acre Sorel-Trois Rivieres property near the TransCanada Pipeline.
