Brownstone Ventures Inc., Toronto, (CDNX: BWN) has acquired 3 million shares of PanWestern Energy Inc., Vancouver, (Toronto Venture: PW) for approximately C$1.65 million. The purchase includes 3 million purchase warrants granting Brownstone the right to buy shares at C$0.75 until April 21, 2009. Brownstone and its joint actors now hold approximately 7 million PanWestern shares, or approximately 14% of its outstanding stock.
