Aberdeen International Inc., Toronto, (Toronto: AAB) has acquired 12.7% of issued and outstanding shares of Longford Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: LFD) for C$1.5 million. Aberdeen acquired 2 million Longford shares at approximately C$0.73 each and 1 million purchase warrants. Aberdeen now holds 5.3 million Longford shares, and a partially diluted basis, Aberdeen would hold approximately 23% of Longford shares. Longford has 13 wells in properties in the Alder Flats and Brazeau areas of Alberta, the Lashburn area of Saskatchewan and the Moundville area of Alabama. Production is approximately 54 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
