Magnum Energy Inc., Vancouver, B.C., (Toronto Venture: MEN) has acquired British-Columbia-based Countess Production LP and assets beneficially owned by Pompano Holdings Inc. for C$450,000. Assets are east of Calgary and include a 40% working interest in one producing well, a 40% interest in a shut-in well, and an interest in other developmental locations. Magnum is reviewing a workover plan for the shut-in well as well as plans to drill an additional well. The effective date is Sept. 1.
