Geocan Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto: GCA) has sold a minor working interest and noncore assets in Alberta and Saskatchewan for approximately C$8.6 million. The assets included production of approximately 229 barrels of oil per day (78% gas). Geocan will use the proceeds to pay debt from it revolving bank facility and working capital.
