Altima Resources Ltd., Vancouver, (CDNX: ARH) has acquired all of the assets of Golden Eagle Energy Inc., Houston, for an undisclosed price. The assets include all land and wells in townships 41 and 42, ranges 10, 11, and 12 W5M in the Chambers area of west-central Alberta. The deal concludes negotiations of a farm-in and option-to-purchase agreement with Golden Eagle. Land-holdings include interest in 17 sections (10,880 gross acres) of Crown land, six sections (3,840 gross acres) of farm-in and farm-in-option lands, interest in five wells, and surface rights on three wellsites and access roads and three pipeline rights of way. Altima's overall interest in the Chambers area is approximately 63%.
