Jed Oil Inc., Didsbury, Alberta, (Amex: JDO) has closed its sale of its North Ferrier assets in Alberta to an undisclosed arm's-length third party for approximately C$33.9 million in cash. The assets include 1,600 undeveloped acres. Production is approximately 760 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The proceeds of the sale will be used to fund Jed's proposed acquisition of Caribou Resources Corp., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: CBU) for US$52.4 million.
