Mystique Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: MYS) has closed the sale of its assets and tax pools to an undisclosed Calgary-based petroleum company for C$19.2 million. Mystique has assets in the Harmattan, Lochend, Bottrel and Wildcat Hills areas of southwestern Alberta. Production is approximately 454 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Proved and probable reserves are 2.3 million barrels equivalent. Net proceeds from the sale will be used to eliminate Mystique's debt to its primary lender and other creditors. GMP Securities LP marketed the assets for Mystique.
