Bought subsidiary holding 16.667% interest in PEDL070 including Avington oil field in Weald Basin of southern England.

U.K.-based Egdon Resources Plc (London: EDR) has acquired privately held YCI Resources Ltd. from the Heyco Energy Group for approximately £550,000 (US$770,000). YCI holds a 16.667% interest in PEDL070, which contains the Avington oil field in the Weald Basin of southern England. YCI also has a 33.334% interest in adjacent license PEDL069. This transaction will increase Egdon's interests to 36.667% in PEDL070 and to 66.667% in PEDL069. Egdon will pay 6,861,434 shares to Heyco International SL. Heyco will hold 9.1% of Egdon shares. Heyco will also receive a 5% and 10% net profit interest on current and future production from the licenses based on oil prices. Egdon operates onshore in the U.K. and France.
