Bought rights to PSC in SW Gissar & Ustyurt region, gaining 100 B cubic meters gas & 6 MM tons liquid hydrocarbons.

Russian oil company Lukoil has acquired 100% of SNG Holdings Ltd., a subsidiary of MGNK Soyuzneftegaz group, that holds the rights to the production sharing agreement for the fields of southwestern Gissar and the Ustyurt region of Uzbekistan for US$580 million. The second party to the PSA is the National Holding Company Uzbekneftegaz acting as an authorized state body. Seven fields, Jarkuduk-Yangi Kyzylcha, Gumbulak, Amanata, Pachkamar and Adamtash gas condensate fields, South Kyzylbayrak oil and gas condensate field and the Koshkuduk oil field, are on the contract area of the Gissar Kashkadariya region. Moderate volumes of oil and gas condensate are produced at South Kyzylbayrak and Koshkuduk. The reserves in place for these fields of C1 category are approximately 100 billion cubic meters of gas and about 6 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons (oil and gas condensate). Production on the contract area is about 3 billion cubic meters of gas and more than 300,000 tons of liquid hydrocarbons annually.
