Purchased exploration rights to 1.68-million acre ATP 865 in Adavale Basin.

Sentry Petroleum Ltd., Denver, (OTCBB: SPLM) has acquired all exploration rights and obligations to ATP 865, a 1.68-million acre permit west of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, from China-based Medina Group. ATP 865 lies in the Adavale Basin that encompasses roughly 14 million acres. The basin is relatively lightly explored, with fewer than 60 exploration wells drilled to date, and most of those without the aid of modern technology. Sentry chief executive Alan Hart says, "Numerous leads have been delimited, in particular the Sherwood Park prospect. Though our assessment of Sherwood Park is preliminary the potential of the prospect is significant. Even a modicum of success here will have a significant impact on Sentry."
