Purchased remaining 50%, gaining interest in Kuçova oil field.

Bankers Petroleum Ltd., Calgary, (Toronto, London Aim: BNK) has acquired the remaining 50% of outstanding shares of Sherwood International Petroleum Ltd. for C$1.5 million. Sherwood's assets include the Kuçova oil field in Albania. Sherwood is now a subsidiary of Bankers and holds the exclusive right to evaluate and redevelop the Kuçova heavy oil field pursuant to a petroleum agreement with Albania state-owned petroleum company Albpetrol. Bankers plans to further develop Kuçova Field, which has more than 490 million barrels of original-oil-in-place.
