London-based Perenco has acquired Barrett Resources (Peru) LLC, Lima, from The Williams Cos., Tulsa, Okla., (NYSE: WMB) for $148 million. Barrett holds a 100% interest in Block 67 in the Marin Basin in Peru, containing the Paiche, Dorado and Pirana fields with estimated proved plus probable resources of more than 300 million barrels of oil equivalent.
