TransGlobe Energy Corp., Calgary, (Toronto: TGL; Amex: TGA) has acquired a 33% working interest in Block 84 in Yemen through subsidiary TG Holdings Yemen Inc. DNO ASA has 34% and operatorship and Ansan Wikfs (Hadramaut) Ltd. has 33%. Block 84 consists of 731 square kilometers (approximately 183,000 acres) and is in the Masila Basin. TransGlobe now has interests in four blocks in Yemen.
