Gran Tierra Energy Inc., Calgary, (OTCBB: GTRE) has entered a license contract covering Block 128 in Peru with PeruPetro SA, Lima, Peru. Block 128 covers 2.2 million acres and is adjacent to Gran Tierra's existing acreage in Block 122 on the eastern flank of the Maranon Basin in northern Peru. Gran Tierra is operator. The company now has a 100% working interest in 3.2 million acres in the Iquitos Arch.
