Licenses

Serica Energy Plc, London, (London, Toronto Venture: SQZ) has acquired two licenses in the North Sea offshore Norway. The company has a 20% interest in both licenses, which are contiguous and in the Egersund Basin. The northern license covers approximately 725 square kilometers comprising parts of the 17/8, 17/9, 17/11, 17/12, 18/7 and 18/10 blocks. It includes the Bream and Brisling oil discoveries. The southern license covers approximately 900 square kilometers comprising parts of the 8/3, 9/1, 17/12, 18/10 and 18/11 blocks. It includes the 18/10-1 discovery. The Bream discovery was tested at 1,000 barrels of oil per day.
