Bridge Resources Corp., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: BUK) has closed its acquisition of 100% interest in blocks 48/21a and 48/21b in the Southern Gas Basin area of the U.K. North Sea and a 3.0625% carried interest in Block 48/22b North from Century Exploration (UK) Ltd., Watlington, U.K., and Warwick Energy Ltd., Wellesbourne, U.K., for US$3 million in cash and 4 million shares valued at approximately C$5.5 million (US$4.9 million) for a total deal valued at US$7.9 million. Century and Warwick will have an 8% net royalty interest. The assets include Dudgeon Field with the discovery well 48/21-1 in the Rotliegendes Leman sand with production of 628 barrels of condensate per day and proved-plus-probable reserves of 36.2 billion cubic feet of gas and 720,000 barrels of condensate.
