Technical evaluation areas

Gran Tierra Energy Inc., Calgary, (OTCBB: GTRE) has acquired two technical evaluation areas in the Putumayo Basin in southern Colombia. The two areas are near Orito Field, the largest oil field in the Putumayo Basin. Putumayo A covers 1,409 square kilometers (570,000 acres) and Putumayo B covers 440 square kilometers (109,000 acres). Each is now 100% held by Gran Tierra, now the largest private exploration license-holder in the basin.
