Acquired interests in 95,808 acres in Cubiro contract in Orocué, Colombia.

Alange Energy Corp., Toronto, (Toronto Venture: ALE) has acquired all of Bogota's Montecz SA's interests in the Cubiro exploration and production contract in Orocué, Colombia, from Montecz's Panamanian subsidiary for C$36 million in cash and stock. Alange paid 33,284,516 shares and $20 million in cash. It also agreed to pay Montecz a 3% overriding royalty on monthly production from the contract area, less production used for operations. Montecz interests include access to 95,808 acres, or 41.23% of the development area, 50.73% of the Central Cubiro exploration area and 25% of the Oriental Cubiro exploration area.
