Acquired assets in Kerrobert, Coleville areas of SK, Ferrier area of AB, gaining 3,000 BOE/d, 10.2 BOE 2P.

Baytex Energy Trust, Calgary, (NYSE: BTE, Toronto: BTE.UN) has acquired assets in the Kerrobert and Coleville areas of southwestern Saskatchewan and gas assets in the Ferrier area of west-central Alberta from an undisclosed seller for US$78.76 million (C$86.2 million). Production is approximately 3,000 barrels of oil per day (72% heavy oil; 28% gas). Proved and probable reserves are estimated to be 10.2 barrels of oil equivalent. The assets also include some 47,700 net acres of developed properties and another 63,600 net acres of undeveloped land in the Lloydminster area where Baytex already has operations and infrastructure.
