Acquired 43.75% WI in 6,356 acres in Eagle Ford oil shale play, TX.

Diaz Resources Ltd., Calgary, (Toronto: DZR) has sold a 43.75% interest in 6,356 acres of oil and gas leases on the Eagle Ford oil shale play in Texas from an undisclosed buyer for C$810,712 (US$765,000). Diaz retains a 6.25% interest in the property. In addition to the cash received, the purchaser will pay for Diaz's 6.25% interest through the first US$4.3 million of gross expenditures on projects to develop the property, bringing the deal value to US$5.65 million.
