Purchased 1,700 acres in Rogers Co., OK.
CAVU Resources Inc., Tulsa, Okla., (Pink Sheets: CAVR) has purchased a segment of pipeline and oil and gas leases in Rogers County, Oklahoma, from an undisclosed seller for an undisclosed price. CAVU purchased 49 miles of pipeline and 1,700 acres of oil and gas leases north of Claremore, Okla. The pipeline intersects with the company's recently acquired existing pipeline infrastructure near Nowata, Okla. CAVU plans to connect the two lines to develop the new acreage, as well as to purchase gas from producers with shut-in wells in the area. The 49-mile segment of pipeline is part of an existing 10-foot steel petroleum line that used to transport oil from Bartlesville and other oilfields in northeastern Oklahoma to refineries outside of Tulsa; segments of the original pipeline were sold during economic downturns.
