To acquire MT Bakken acreage.

CAVU Resources Inc., Tulsa, Okla., (Pink Sheets: CAVR) plans to acquire acreage in the Bakken shale play in northeastern Montana from an undisclosed seller. Financial terms of the agreement have not been released. If a test well is successfully completed, CAVU says it will acquire additional acreage north and west of Elm Coulee Field in Richland County, Montana. The company says the seller is associated with a geologist who has reported between 600,000 and 750,000 barrels of recoverable oil on each well drilled on 640-acre spacing in the middle Bakken member. CAVU says the land is also strategically surrounded by acreage held by four other large companies.
