Artek Exploration Ltd., Calgary, (Toronto Venture: RTK) has completed its reverse takeover of Costa Energy Inc. (formerly listed on Toronto Venture as CEQ).

Artek shareholders received five common shares of the resulting company, Artek Exploration Ltd., per private share held, while Costa shareholders received approximately 0.029 shares for each Costa share held.

Artek is now traded on the Toronto Venture Exchange under the ticker "RTK." The company has approximately 25.4 million common shares issued and outstanding.

The resulting company has proved plus probable reserves of 11.3 million barrels of oil equivalent and current production of approximately 2,200 barrels of oil equivalent per day (78% gas). The company also has more than 80,000 net acres of undeveloped land and 170 identified drilling locations, primarily in the Montney, Doig, Cadomin and Nikanassin resource plays in British Columbia.
