Signature Exploration and Production Corp., Houston, (OTCBB: SXLP) plans to acquire a 90% working interest in a Franklin County, Kansas, lease from EnerJex Resources Inc., Overland Park, Kan., (OTCBB: ENRJ) for $1.5 million.

Cumulative production from the 214-acre property, which has 24 producing wells, was approximately 65,000 barrels of oil as of 2008. Total probable reserves are estimated at 91,845 barrels of oil.

The transaction is expected to close by May 15.
