Acquired properties in Chautauqua County, NY.

Altima Resources Ltd., Vancouver, (Toronto Venture: ARH) has sold oil and gas producing properties in Chautauqua County, New York, to an unnamed buyer for US$1.4 million.

Altima acquired the assets in its purchase of Unbridled Energy Corp., Sewickley, Penn., which closed in February. Altima says the divestment is part of its strategic plan to focus on core properties in the Chambers area of west-central Alberta.

The proceeds were used to reduce Unbridled's debt.
