To acquire assets in Boyer, Alberta, gaining 136 BCF reserves, 27 MMCFG/d.

Fortress Energy Inc., Calgary, (Toronto: FEI) plans to acquire gas assets in the Boyer area of Alberta from an undisclosed seller for C$170 million.

The assets have 136 billion cubic feet of proved and probable reserves with a reserve life index of 13.8 years. Production is approximately 27 million cubic feet of gas per day, primarily from the Bluesky formation.

More than 200 drilling locations have been identified from 787,000 acres of land. The acquisition includes gathering and processing facilities.
