To acquire 25% WI in San Joaquin Basin, CA, assets.

West Canyon Energy Corp., Houston, (OTCBB: WCYN) plans to divest its 25% nonoperated interest in the North Semitropic project to an unnamed privately held company for $185,000. The assets are in the San Joaquin Basin in Kern County, California. West Canyon says it will continue to evaluate potential acquisitions in the U.S. and Colombia.
