Privately held Tanos Exploration LLC, a Natural Gas Partners portfolio company, has acquired assets in the East Texas Basin from privately held RiverStone Energy LP, Kingwood, Texas, an EnCap Investments LP portfolio company, for an undisclosed price. The assets include more than 9,000 net acres with 435 acres prospective for Haynesville shale, as well as a 30-mile gathering system. Raymond James & Associates Inc. was advisor to RiverStone.
