To earn a 1% working interest in 2,400 acres by carrying out completion operations for Dena Forehand #2H & Kellam #2H.

Eagle Ford Oil & Gas Corp., Houston, (OTC Bulletin Board: ECCED) plans to acquire an interest in certain acreage in the South Texas Eagle Ford shale, and will carry out completion operations for two recently drilled wells on the properties in the coming month.

The company will earn a 1% working interest in 2,400 acres in Live Oak County. Drilled but not completed, the Dena Forehand #2H and Kellam #2H wells are scheduled to be fractured by late September.

Eagle Ford Oil & Gas anticipates participating in the drilling a total of 14 wells on the lease through 2011.

Eagle Ford Oil & Gas president Rick Adams says, "This acquisition, although a small working interest, is important to Eagle Ford because it marks the first step of implementing our business plan as a pure play oil company in the Eagle Ford shale."
