Eagle Ford Oil & Gas Corp., Houston, (OTCBB: ECCE) plans to sell its working interest in Wilson Field in South Texas to an undisclosed Houston-based oil and gas company for an undisclosed price.

Wilson Field is in Nueces County, Texas. The buyer will assume the remaining liabilities, including plugging and abandonment charges.

Eagle Ford Oil & Gas president Rick Adams says, "The sale of Wilson Field will allow Eagle Ford Oil & Gas Corp. to fully concentrate on the acquisition and development of new oil and gas plays in the Eagle Ford shale area of Texas. Wilson Field is not a core investment, and we are taking advantage of this opportunity to continue repositioning ourselves."
