To buy 2,780 acres in Mountrail County, ND.

American Standard Energy Corp., Scottsdale, Ariz., (OTCBB: ASEN) plans to acquire approximately 2,780 acres in Mountrail County, North Dakota, from an undisclosed seller for $1.86 million.

The company will pay an average of $669 per acre.

The acreage is within 20 separate and mostly contiguous sections of the Parshall and Stanley fields in the Williston Basin.

The deal brings its total Bakken holdings to 18,900 acres.

American Standard chief executiveScott Feldhacker says, "These acres are well situated among acres held by leading Bakken exploration companies in an area of the play that is thought to be the most prolific and developed to date."
