Avant Grade Energy Corp., Approach Oil & Gas (Canada) Inc., Sabre Energy Ltd.

NEW, Avant Garde Energy Corp., Approach Oil & Gas (Canada) Inc. and Sabre Energy Ltd. have retained Tristone Capital Inc. to sell its interests in the Monias/Charlie Lake area of northeastern British Columbia with Montney shale potential. The package includes 94.5% average working interest in 47 sections gross (44.4 net) or 29,954 acres gross (28,309 net). The partners have drilled a vertical well and horizontal well in the Monias area, both of which flowed gas and will be tiedin in fourth-quarter 2008. A third well was drilled in the Inga area with sealed cores cut in the Montney and Doig phosphate shale and sidewall cores cut in the Doig sandstone and Nordegg shale.
