Bow Valley Energy Ltd.

Bow Valley Energy Ltd. has retained Scotia Waterous to sell interests in the U.K. sector of the North Sea and Alaska. Four nonoperated fields in the North Sea, Kyle, Enoch, Blane and Chestnut, produce 5,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Proved and probable reserves as of year-end 2007 were estimated to be 26.7 million barrels of oil equivalent. Pre-production assets in Ettrick Field expect to add 2,400 barrels per day by the end of the first quarter. Bow Valley holds additional pre-production assets. The Alaskan assets include more than 219,220 gross acres on the North Slope in the Tofkat and Northshore discoveries with a 20% working interest in each. Contact Drew Ross, 403-261-4226.
